
P-Bruins Announce Training Camp Roster

Providence Bruins News Release
Providence, RI - The Providence Bruins, entering their 20th season in the American Hockey League, today announced today their training camp roster for the 2011-12 season. The roster is presently comprised of 25 players, including 13 forwards, nine defensemen and three goaltenders.
The group of 13 forwards includes Jamie Arniel, Carter Camper, Stefan Chaput, Craig Cunningham, Kirk MacDonald, Kyle MacKinnon, Adam Presizniuk, Richard Purslow, Tyler Randell, Calle Ridderwall, Yannick Riendeau, Everett Sheen, and Jamie Tardif. Presizniuk, Purslow and Sheen are in Providence on tryout agreements.
The defensive unit is made up of Andrew Bodnarchuk, Ryan Button, Marc Cantin, Colby Cohen, Marvin Degon, Nathan McIver, Zach McKelvie, Kevan Miller, and David Warsofsky. Degon, a Worcester, MA native, is in camp on a tryout.
Between the pipes are Jared DeMichiel, Michael Hutchinson and Danny Taylor. DeMichiel and Taylor are also in camp on tryouts.
Providence will serve as the host team in one of its two preseason games as the club takes on the Springfield Falcons at the New England Sports Center on Friday, September 30 in Marlborough, Massachusetts. The P-Bruins wrap up their preseason action when the club travels to Springfield the following night to take on the Falcons at the MassMutual Center at 7:00 p.m.
Providence opens the regular season at the Dunkin' Donuts Center on Friday, October 7 in a 7:05 tilt against the St. John's IceCaps.
