
Ozzie Alonso Undergoes Successful Knee Surgery

ATLANTA - Atlanta United today announced that Ozzie Alonso underwent successful surgery on Wednesday to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee. Alonso suffered the injury in Atlanta's win at D.C. United on April 2. He will begin his rehabilitation process and his recovery will dictate his return to play.
Atlanta United (3-2-1, 10 points) returns to action Saturday, April 16 when it hosts FC Cincinnati at Mercedes-Benz Stadium (6 p.m., Peachtree TV, ATLUTD.com/live, Sports Radio 92-9 The Game, SiriusXM FC 157, La Mejor).
