Northern Colorado Owlz News Release
The Orem OWLZ announce that they will host a food drive on Saturday, September 3, to benefit the relief effort in the Gulf Coast following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.
Fans who donate a bottle of water or a can of non-perishable food will receive a free general admission ticket to Saturday's home game against in-state rival Ogden Raptors.
"With many OWLZ players' families, both past and present, living in areas affected by the disaster, the organization would like to join with other Utahns wishing to help ease the pain and suffering of the victims of this tragedy," said OWLZ Co-General Manager Zachary Fraser.
Additionally, $3.00 from every purchase fans make in the OWLZ Shop during Saturday's game will be donated to the relief effort.
The OWLZ will host the Raptors in a four-game series at the Home of the OWLZ, Saturday, September 3 through Tuesday, September 6. Games will begin at 7:05 PM, with the exception of Sunday's 4:05 PM start time.
