Owlz See Five Run Vanish in Loss to Chukars

IDAHO FALLS- The second half of the season has been one to forget for the Orem Owlz. The Orem Owlz looked to snap a six game road losing streak in Idaho Falls on Sunday afternoon and after scoring the first five runs of the night it looked like the Owlz were going to succeed on their mission at task, but the Chukars scored eight unanswered runs to complete the comeback and sweep the Owlz in a 13-7 win to secure a playoff berth.
The game began with the Owlz scoring the first five runs of the night, scoring four in the second and one in the third as it looked like the Owlz may cruise to victory. In the bottom of the third inning the Chukars scored four runs which included one of their two home runs of the night to cut the lead to a one run game. The Chukars would even the score up at 5 in the fourth inning and that's when the Owlz knew they were in trouble.
After evening the score in the fourth the Chukars ran away with the lead scoring at least a run in every inning after. They score five in the fifth, two in the six and seventh and finally scored their final run in the eighth.
With the loss the Owlz now end the regular season on the road with seven straight losses, it also means that with an Idaho Falls win the Owlz and Chukars will open up the 2015 playoffs against each other.
