
Owlz Losing Streak Reaches Seven Game

(Ogden) - The Odgen Raptors scored seven of their nine runs in the first three innings as the Owlz lost their seventh consecutive game, falling to the Raptors 9-4 on Friday night.
Ogden's offense came out swinging the bats, batting eight times in the first inning. The Raptors took a 3-0 lead thanks to RBI singles from Ronny Brito, Jon Littell, and Niko Hulsizer.
The Raptors added to their lead in the third inning, batting eight times for the second time in the game. Littell continued his big night by doubling in the Raptors' fourth run of the night. Ogden added two more in the inning, taking a 7-0 lead.
Ogden collected 16 hits in the game.
Connor Fitzsimons put the Owlz on the board in the fifth inning with a single to center that scored D'Shawn Knowles.
After Ogden scored two more in the fifth, the Owlz grabbed three runs in the sixth inning thanks to a Knowles RBI single and a Nonie Williams two-run double.
Ogden reliever Justin Brule (3-1) picked up the win while Cole Duensing (0-8) was charged with the loss. The Owlz and the Raptors will continue the series on Saturday night at 7:00 at Lindquist Field.
