
Kris Bubic Added to All-Star Team

Idaho Falls, Idaho - Chukars LHP Kris Bubic has been added to the 2018 Pioneer League All-Star team, replacing Chukars LHP Robert Garcia, who has been called up to Lexington.
Bubic is the 40th overall pick of the 2018 draft by the Kansas City Royals out of Stanford University. He finished his college season with an 8-1 record with a 2.62 ERA in 86 innings of work. He held opponents to a .199 batting average and struck out 101 batters. Bubic was an all PAC-12 performer during the 2018 season.
The 6'3" 220 pound southpaw had his best professional start on August 1st at Orem, where he struck out 10 and allowed only 3 hits in 5 innings. That night Bubic got his first professional win.
Bubic joins Chukars infielders Nate Eaton and Reed Rohlman as well as LHP JC Cloney as the 4 players who will be representing the Chukars in the Pioneer League vs Northwest League All-Star game on August 7th at Grand Junction.
