Ouzas Named Attacker of the Week

Overage goaltender Michael Ouzas has been named the Ron Oatt Shoes Attacker of the Week for the week of January 23 - 29, 2006. It is the third time that he has received the award.

The first game was Friday night in Mississauga against his former team the IceDogs. Ouzas stopped 28 of 30 shots including several key saves in the third period to allow the Attack to comeback for a 3-2 win.

The second game was Saturday night at home against the Sudbury Wolves. Ouzas stopped 26 of 28 shots for his second consecutive 3-2 win.

The third game was Sunday afternoon at home against the Windsor Spitfires. This time Ouzas faced 35 shots making 32 saves for a 4-3 win.

Owen Sound Attack - Bell Skills Competition Bell is sponsoring a special skills competition for the Owen Sound Attack on Wednesday, February 15 from 7 - 9pm at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre. Special hosts are Mike Angelidis of the Owen Sound Attack and T.J. from Beavercrest Community School. Admission is free with donations being accepted for Disabled Learning Centres at schools in Grey and Bruce counties.
