
TV Cogeco / Rogers Television To Broadcast All-Star Classic

Toronto - The Ontario Hockey League today announced that the 2006 Bell OHL All-Star Classic will be broadcast in Ontario on TV Cogeco and Rogers Television on Wednesday February 1, 2006.
The game broadcast begins at 7:00 p.m. with a special pre-game show beginning in most markets at 6:30 p.m.
Veteran OHL play-by-play announcer Jack Miller (TV Cogeco Belleville) and colour commentator Jon Begg (TV Cogeco Kingston) will call the game while Terry Doyle (TV Cogeco Peterborough) will be the host for the game.
The game will be available in most Rogers and Cogeco markets and will also be available throughout Ontario on the Super Sports Pak premium digital package.
"We are very pleased to continue our partnership with Rogers Television and TV Cogeco for the 2006 Bell OHL All-Star Cup," said OHL Commissioner David Branch. "Through our partnership, Rogers and Cogeco have had the opportunity to bring hundreds of OHL regular season and playoff games to viewers throughout the province. This is special opportunity to expand our partnership through the presentation one of our premiere events."
The Ontario Hockey League has partnered with Rogers Television and TV Cogeco to bring live OHL games to markets throughout the province since 1991. More than 400 regular season and playoff games will be shown on local broadcasts during the 2005-06 season.
The 2006 Bell OHL All-Star Classic will be played on Wednesday February 1, 2006 at the Yardmen Arena in Belleville, Ontario. Tickets for the game can be purchased at the Belleville Bulls Box Office or by calling 613-966-8338 ext. 3885. Ticket packages are $30 which includes a reserved seat for the OHL All-Star Skills Competition on January 31 and a reserved seat for the Bell OHL All-Star Classic on February 1. All fans will also receive a special commemorative OHL All-Star souvenir program.
