New Britain committed two key errors in the 12th inning allowing runners to be on first and third with no outs. Chris Rahl then drove in a run and after a sacrifice bunt, Steve Lombardozzi drove in two with a single. The Rock Cats loaded the bases in the last of the 12th on two walks and a hit batter, but Pena was able to retire the final batter to end the game.
