
Outlaws look to extend home winning streak

The Outlaws continue their nine-game home stand with three games on the slate this week. On Wednesday, the defending Colonial Cup Champions Muskegon Fury roar into Kemper in attempt to slow down the Outlaws home success. On Friday and Saturday, the Outlaws look to continue their win streaks against fellow expansion team Motor City Mechanics and Western division rival Quad City Mallards, respectively.
WANTED: SHARP SHOOTIN' TEENAGER
19 year-old Kansas City Outlaw Center Steve Yetmen is a wanted man around the league as he's put himself in strong contention for the UHL Rookie of the Year award. After getting off to a great start this season, Yetmen currently ranks second in rookie points with 23 and is six behind leader Mike Kinnie of the Flint Generals. Yetmen leads all rookies in power play assists and ranks second in power play goals and game-winning goals.
FARMLAND FOODS SADDLE UP TOGETHER FOR FANS
The Outlaws and Farmland Foods have teamed up together to face the Quad City Mallards. Outlaws fans who purchase a Farmland Foods Ham from any participating grocer can get two free tickets to the Outlaws game against the Quad City Mallards Saturday, December 18 at 7:30. All fans have to do is bring a receipt or Farmland Foods Ham packaging to the Kemper Box Office to receive two free tickets to the game.
LOCAL OLYMPIAN GYMNASTS TO DROP THE PUCK
The Outlaws will be honoring local gymnasts Terin Humphrey and Courtney McCool during Gymnast Night on Tuesday, December 21 at 7:00 p.m. vs. the Missouri River Otters. The Olympic silver medalists will drop the first puck for the game and are participating in two exclusive meet-n-greet autograph sessions for groups of 50 or more before the game. On Saturday, December 11, fans had the opportunity to skate and get autographs from their favorite Outlaws players at Line Creek Community Center Ice Arena in North Kansas City. Fans turned out for the event to discover first-hand what it's like to skate alongside a professional hockey player.

KEMPER ARENA FACT OF THE WEEK:
Danny Manning will be returning to Kemper Arena when the University of Kansas takes on the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the Yellowbook Shootout on Wednesday, December 22 at 7:00 p.m. Manning, who is the Director of Basketball Operations for the Jayhawks, etched his legendary status in stone for Kansas fans when he guided them to the 1988 National Championship at Kemper Arena. Manning was named NCAA Final Four Most Valuable Playeer while averaging 28 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.5 steals, and 4 blocks per game in his legendary performances at Kemper Arena in 1988.
