Outlaw's Home Playoff Games Set for Tuesday and Wednesday Sept 7th-8th

(Chico, CA. September 2nd, 2010) The Chico Outlaws today announced the home dates for the GBL first round playoff series have now been scheduled for Tuesday September 7th and Wednesday September 8th. First pitch at Nettleton Stadium for games one and two of the best-of-five series is set for 7:05 pm each night.
The Outlaws were originally scheduled to host Game 3 on Friday, September 10th and then the next two games if necessary. However, due to travel logistics issues and the likelihood the series will be played against the Calgary Vipers, both teams agreed to open the playoffs in Chico, giving Chico fans a guarantee of at least two home playoff games for the first time since 2007. Calgary is currently 3.5 games ahead of Victoria with five games to play and in Chico and Yuma to end the season.
Thursday September 9th will be a travel day for both teams and game three of the playoff series will be played on Friday September 10th in Calgary. Games four and five (if necessary) will be played September 11th-12th in Calgary as needed.
Fans who have purchased tickets for the weekend playoff dates can exchange their tickets at the Outlaws main office located at 313 Walnut Street, Suite 110 in Chico or at the box office on the day of a game. Fans can exchange their tickets for either of the two home playoff dates and can also exchange tickets during the GBL Championship Series if the Outlaws advance. You can also purchase tickets by calling the office at 345-3210 or going online at www.chicooutlaws.com.
