
Otters Reduce Camp Roster

The Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League announced today that they have reduced their Training Camp roster to 40 players following today's sessions.
Re-assigned to their home teams today were 2009 OHL Priority Selections Michael Neville (third round, 54th overall), Kevin Zugec (ninth round, 170th) and Matthew Halloran (14th round, 270th) as well as Connor MacLeod (seventh round, 123rd overall in 2008) and invites Christopher McPeak, AJ White, Alexander Barr, Brian Inman, Taylor Nickerson, Robert MacFarlane, and Ben Pagano.
A total of 40 players remain in camp attempting to secure a spot on the Otters 2009-10 roster.
The Otters 2009 Training Camp continues tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday at the Tullio Arena with practice sessions in the morning followed by a scrimmage in the afternoon at 4:30 p.m. each day. All on-ice sessions at the Tullio Arena are open to the public free of charge.
Tickets for the Otters lone home pre-season game against the Niagara IceDogs to be played this Saturday (August 29th) at 5 p.m. at the Tullio Arena are now on sale at all Erie-area Ticketmaster locations, at the Civic Center Box Office, by calling 814-452-4857 or by visiting www.ottershockey.com. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children (12 and under) in either Platinum or Gold Seating.
