Erie Otters News Release
The Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League announced today that they have agreed to a three-year lease extension with the Erie County Convention Center Authority. "We always had faith in Casey (ECCCA Executive Director Casey Wells)," said Otters General Manager and Managing Partner Sherry Bassin. "We've been working on the details of the lease extension for the last couple of months in an orderly fashion. This extension demonstrates on paper the mutual respect that we share for one another." The extension will carry the two sides through the 2011-12 season. "The Erie Otters are a significant asset to our region and extending their lease for three years will continue to provide high quality entertainment in our community," said ECCCA Executive Director Casey Wells. "The Otters are a first class organization and this lease extension combined with the re-investment in the Tullio Arena will further insure their long term presence in our facility."
