
Otters Recall Eisenberg from Junior B Wheatfield

The Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League have announced that they have recalled forward Mitchell Eisenberg from the Wheatfield Blades of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League. The announcement was made by Otters general manager Sherwood Bassin.
Eisenberg was drafted by the Otters in the ninth round, 171st overall in the 2010 OHL Priority Selection. A native of Toronto, Eisenberg moved to Raleigh, N.C. at a young age and has played through the Carolina Hurricanes youth hockey system. He has also participated at USA Hockey Training Camps.
Last season, Eisenberg tallied 10 goals and 13 assists in 20 games for the Jr. Hurricanes U16 squad in the North American Prospects Hockey League. Eisenberg was selected to the all-honorable mention team at the end of the season.
This season in Wheatfield, the 16-year-old Eisenberg has collected 10 goals and 15 assists in 39 games for the Junior B-level Blades. Eisenberg will wear No. 31 with the Otters.
