
Otters Dumped in Kitchener

Chris MacKinnon had two goals and two assists to lead the Kitchener Rangers to a 6-2 win over the Erie Otters in an Ontario Hockey League game played tonight in front of 6,298 at the Memorial Auditorium.
Scott Timmons and Steve Lock also scored twice for the Rangers to complete the scoring. Kitchener improved to 10-10-1-1.
Zack Torquato and Sean Jones scored for the Otters, who dropped to 11-11-1-0 on the season.
The two teams were scoreless after one. The Rangers carried a 2-1 advantage into the third and built that to 5-1 with three goals in the opening four minutes of the third.
The Otters out shot the Rangers 43-34 in the game as Jaroslav Janus took the loss.
The three stars of the game were all from the Rangers. MacKinnon was the first, Lock the second and goaltender Josh Unice (41 saves) the third.
