Ottawa Wins Final Game of Series
June 21, 2019 - Canadian American League (Can-Am)
New Jersey Jackals News Release
The Jackals played a confident double header yesterday at Yogi Berra Stadium, but unfortunately that was not the case for tonight's series finale versus the Ottawa Champions.
In the first inning, Ottawa DH Leonardo Reginato picked up an RBI and third baseman Jordan Caillouet drove in two more runs with a double. After two more blank innings, the stadium was hit by a deluge of rain that caused a lengthy delay.
The Champions put four more runs on the board in the seventh and yet another in the eighth. Caillouet finished the game with five RBIs.
First baseman Conrad Gregor scored the lone run for the Jackals in the bottom of the sixth.
The Jackals fell to the Champions 1-7. Tomorrow the Jackals play against Shikoku Island at home at 7pm.
