Ottawa Re-Assigns Lawson to Binghamton

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League announced today they have re-assigned goaltender Nathan Lawson back to their American Hockey League affiliate the Binghamton Senators.

Lawson, 30, backed up starting Ottawa goaltender Robin Lehner for the Senators past two victories this week- Tuesday in Columbus and Thursday versus Montreal.

Binghamton returns to action tonight for their first of three games in as many nights when they travel to Rochester to faceoff against the Americans at 7:05 p.m. Tomorrow night the B-Sens will be back on home ice when they host the Americans at 7:05 p.m. before hitting the road for a Sunday evening matchup versus division rival the Hershey Bears at 5:00 p.m.

Ottawa returns to action tomorrow afternoon when they host the Florida Panthers at 2:00 p.m.
