Game Notes:

Welcome Back Dalton

67's winger Dalton Smith will make his return to the lineup on Thursday night on the road in Peterborough. Smith has now completed a 10 game suspension issued by the OHL for a collision with Bulls goaltender Malcolm Subban during the second game of the season. Smith, a Columbus Blue Jackets second round pick in 2010 has registered 10 penalty minutes in the two games he has played in this season. During his 145 game OHL career, all with the 67's, Smith has collected 80 points (35g, 45a) and 271 penalty minutes.

Four 67's Named to OHL Team for Subway Super Series

Cody Ceci, Tyler Graovac, Sean Monahan and Tyler Toffoli will all be on familiar ground, or ice, when team OHL hosts Team Russia on Thursday, November 10th at the J. Benson Cartage Center. The four 67's standouts will join other OHL stars as they look to enact revenge for Team Russia's dramatic come from behind victory over Canada in the gold medal game at the 2011 World Juniors in Buffalo. This game will surely be a prospect showcase on all accounts as both teams will feature both currently drafted and soon to be drafted junior stars. Team Russia will likely feature the services of potential first or second overall 2012 NHL picks, Nail Yakupov (Sarnia Sting) and Mikhail Grigorenko (Quebec Remparts). The experts often flip flop in comparing the two but there is no doubting they will be taken very early in next summers NHL entry draft.

Mississauga will also feature three players on team OHL, goalie J.P. Anderson, defenceman Stuart Percy and forward Riley Brace. All three will be in Team OHL's lineup when the game takes place in Sault Ste. Marie on November 14th.

Penalty Killer Extraordinaire Majors forward Riley Brace is one player to keep an eye on Friday night, especially if the 67's are on the power play. Brace has an amazing five shorthanded goals on the season. The fourth year forward from nearby Woodlawn has tied the single season record for shorthanded goals scored by a Major with five. The mark was set in the 2005-06 campaign by Tyler Haskins in 44 games - Brace completed it only four games. Brace is off the best start of his OHL career with 18 points (9g, 9a) through his first 12 games. Local Talent

Majors boast three players with local roots to the National Capital Region. Left Winger Doug Harvey, hails from Kars. Riley Brace calls Woodlawn his home and Spenser Cobbold is a nearby Stittsville native.
