MISSOULA, MONT - The Missoula Osprey (13-12) fell 11-4 to the Ogden Raptors (16-9) Tuesday to open the four-game series at Lindquist Field. Missoula finished the game with nine hits.

Both teams were scoreless through two and a half innings until the Raptors offense exploded for six runs in the bottom of the third. Daniel Robinson led off the inning with a single while Jacob Amaya reached on an error. Drew Avens bounced into a fielder's choice to score the first run of the game. Dillon Paulsen hit a three-run home run and the Raptors tagged on two more runs to lead 6-0 after three.

Nick Dalesandro led off the fourth for the Osprey and reached on an error. He scored on an RBI groundout from Jesus Munoz to pull the Osprey within five. Buddy Kennedy smacked a solo homer in the fifth, his fourth of the season, to make it a four-run game.

However, Ogden got both runs back in the bottom of the inning when Jair Camargo launched a two-run homer to make it an 8-2 game. The Raptors added a run in the sixth when Ronny Brito recorded a double to score Matt Cogan and push the lead to 9-2. Missoula countered with two in the seventh, courtesy of a Dalesandro two-RBI double.

Ogden plated two more runs in the eighth as Miguel Vargas and Brito each drove in a run to give Ogden the 11-4 victory over Missoula.

Deyni Olivero (0-2) is pegged with the loss after two innings on the mound for the Osprey, allowing five runs (two earned). Connor Mitchell (2-0) earns the win after tossing two and a third innings of two-run baseball. Both runs were unearned. Missoula committed six errors while Ogden had four.

Leading the Osprey at the plate was Eddie Hernandez, who finished with three hits in five at-bats, recording two singles and a double.

Missoula returns to action Wednesday at Ogden for a 7:00 first pitch at Lindquist Field. The Selway Armory Pregame Show begins at 6:45 p.m. on 102.9 ESPN Missoula and the MiLB First Pitch App.
