Orlando City SC News Release
ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando City SC has announced that due to demand from Season Ticket Members and Partial Plan holders, no individual game tickets will be available for its three May home contests. To make the Lions' matches accessible to the entire Central Florida community, all 2021 locally-broadcast games will now be made available to LionNation Free members via the LionNation app and the LionNation portal.
A limited amount of inventory for these matches remains for those looking to become ticket plan holders. For more information on ticket plans, please call 855-ORL-CITY or click here. Fans can sign up to be alerted when single-match tickets become available for matches beginning in June here.
"Orlando City fans are the best fans in Major League Soccer, so it's no surprise to us that our limited inventory has been claimed for these early matches of the season. We are all excited to have soccer back and to be continuing to play safely in front of fans, especially in front of a modified capacity crowd at our home, Exploria Stadium," said Orlando City SC CEO Alex Leitão. "With the great response we've seen from fans who want to be in the venue and who want to support our Club, we're really happy to be able to now make LionNation TV accessible to everyone in Central Florida so they can back the boys this entire season."
As it was for the Lions' MLS opener against Atlanta United FC, the team will play in front of a reduced-capacity crowd for its next three home matches as the Club continues to work with local authorities to provide safe and exciting match day experiences. In this initial phase, 2021 Season Ticket Members and Partial Plan holders received priority access to match day tickets.
As previously announced, LionNation TV serves as a new live streaming platform for the Lions' 2021 Major League Soccer (MLS) season. Now available to all LionNation Free members, fans are able to watch and/or cast each of the Club's locally-televised matches through the new-and-improved LionNation app. LionNation TV is available for fans within the Greater Orlando and Central Florida region.
Fans in the area can enjoy these same matches via cable TV or over-the-air on FOX35 PLUS, while those outside Central Florida can stream all of the Lions' locally-aired matches on ESPN+.
In order to access Orlando City matches, fans can download the app or go to the LionNation portal and create a free account to start streaming. To download the official LionNation app, visit the Apple iTunes Store (here) or Google Play Store (here).
Fans can utilize the new streaming platform for the first time on Saturday, May 1 when the Lions host FC Cincinnati at Exploria Stadium. Kickoff for that match is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
