
Orlando City SC Signs Javier Otero to Short-Term Contract

ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando City SC has signed goalkeeper Javier Otero to a short-term contract from Orlando City B, it was announced today. Otero is set to be available for Wednesday's midweek matchup as the Lions take on the Colorado Rapids in a 9 p.m. ET kickoff.
This marks Otero's second stint of the campaign with the First Team, having signed a short-term contract last month with the Major League Soccer side. A product of the Orlando City Academy, Otero signed an MLS NEXT Pro contract ahead of the 2022 season, having appeared in 11 matches for Orlando City B this year, leading the league with 61 saves.
