
Earthquakes Face LA Galaxy Tonight

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes (4-7-7; 19 pts.) will face the LA Galaxy (8-7-3; 27 pts.) at Dignity Health Sports Park tonight at 7 p.m. PT. The match will be broadcast nationally on FOX Sports 1 and aired via radio on KNBR 1050 (English) and 1370 KZSF (Spanish).
The Quakes, who are seeking their first road win of the season, have won three of their last five matches against LA Galaxy at Dignity Health Sports Park, most recently defeating them 2-1 in their last visit on Aug. 20, 2021. San Jose's Jeremy Ebobisse, who currently leads the team in goals (10), scored his first Quakes goal against LA in the team's last visit to Carson. Ebobisse has scored seven goals against the LA Galaxy in his MLS career, tied for second among active MLS players.
LA Galaxy holds an 8-7-3 record this season (27 pts.), occupying fifth in the Western Conference. The home side will look to bounce back after falling to LAFC 3-2 last Friday. The home side features prominent players such as Mexico National Team all-time leading goal scorer Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez, and homegrown player Efraín Álvarez. Additionally, Douglas Costa, who joined the club prior to the start of the season, is expected to be available for Wednesday's clash after serving a two-game suspension.
