Orbit to Appear at Four Area Schools Tomorrow

Orbit, loveable mascot of the Albuquerque Isotopes, will be appearing at four area schools tomorrow, Friday, November 19 to present awards to winners of the team's annual student calendar contest.
Nearly 600 students from throughout the state of New Mexico submitted entries to be included in the 2011 Albuquerque Isotopes Student Calendar. Orbit will be making surprise visits to winners at Ernie Pyle Middle School, Griegos Elementary School, Wilson Middle School, and James Monroe Middle School.
Orbit's schedule for the day is as follows:
Ernie Pyle Middle School (1820 Valdora SW): 8:30 AM
Griegos Elementary School (4040 San Isidro NW): 9:00 AM
Wilson Middle School (1138 Cardenas Dr. SE): 11:30 AM
James Monroe Middle School (6100 Paradise Blvd. NW): 2:00 PM
The calendar will be produced and distributed to schools and Isotopes season ticket holders in mid-December.
