Sky Sox Announce Extension of Kids Eat Free Mondays

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - As family and friends in the Pikes Peak region look forward to sitting down together next week to give thanks and enjoy their Thanksgiving meals, the Colorado Springs Sky Sox and ARC Thrift Stores are pleased to announce the extension of the popular promotion of Kids Eat Free Mondays. The continued sponsorship by ARC Thrift Stores will extended the program for another two years and allows all kids to eat for free during every Monday home game at Security Service Field. With the promotion, all kids 12 and younger who enter the ballpark with a paid ticket get a free hot dog, bag of chips and soda.

"We are extremely happy and excited to continue our partnership with ARC Thrift Stores and The ARC of the Pikes Peak Region for such a wonderful program for our community and fans", said Sky Sox President and General Manager Tony Ensor. "The Sky Sox have always been about value and an experience for families where they can enjoy the great game of baseball at an affordable price. This program goes a long way towards reaching those goals. ARC is a prominent member of our community and we couldn't be more proud to have this long term relationship to make great family entertainment even more affordable."

The promotion was originally started during the 2009 season and since then has seen a tremendous growth in popularity with Sky Sox fans. Several thousand free meals have been provided since it's inception with many more to come.

Funds raised through the sale of donated items go directly to The ARC of the Pikes Peak Region and provides assistance to children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families."
