The Condors and Wranglers are each playing their season
opening games after splitting a home-and-home series against each other in the preseason. The two squads each won in the opponent's building, with the Condors taking a 5-2 victory on Oct. 7 in Las Vegas. The Condors are 7-5-0 on Opening Night, and 8-4-0 in Home Openers
Condors misc:
The Condors have named LW Mika Suoraniemi as the team's captain this season. F Andrew Ianiero and LW J.D. Corbin will serve as the alternates at home, while C Adam Naglich and F Rylan Kaip are the alternate captains on the road.
Two players that figure to be important to the success of the Condors this season will start the year on the 21-day IR. F Bobby Robins sustained an injury to his hand during the Oct. 7 preseason game in Las Vegas and is expected to be out for 6-8 weeks. Veteran D Jean-Francois David will also miss the start of year with an upper body injury sustained during AHL training camp in Houston.

The Condors visit the Utah Grizzlies next weekend and then have a short stop in Las Vegas before returning to Condorstown to take on Stockton and Alaska on Oct 29 and 30.
