
Ontario Reign Game Preview: Reign Close Busy Weekend Today vs. San Antonio

Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), close a three-game in three-day weekend today against the San Antonio Rampage at 1:00 p.m. PT at AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. Tonight is the first of six regular-season meetings between the two teams.
Scouting the Rampage: After beginning the season with an 0-4-0-0 record, the Rampage have picked up three straight victories including a pair of wins against the defending Calder Cup Champion Cleveland Monsters last Thursday and Friday in Cleveland, Ohio.
Head-to-Head Series: The Ontario Reign hold all all-time record of 4-0-2-0 against the Rampage and are 3-0-0-0 at AT&T Center. LoVerde Starts Strong: Reign defenseman Vincent LoVerde is tied for fifth among AHL defenseman with six points (two goals, four assists).
Powerful Power Play: The Ontario Reign power play leads the AHL heading into today's game at 45.5 percent (10 goals on 22 advantages). San Antonio currently holds the second best penalty kill at 91.1 percent (two goals against on 38 advantages).
