Orion Matthies (OL), 6'6" 330 pounds, comes from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. In 2009, he was named to the 1st team all-RMAC, as well as team co-captain. In 2010, he was listed as a pre-season all-American, and again was the team co-captain. He was a 3-time all conference. He received a private workout with the Carolina Panthers. "Getting a player of his quality along with his size, strength, and intelligence is a great asset to the Omaha Beef," stated Head Coach Bruce Cowdrey. "Orion has exceptional skills, and is capable of playing at a higher level of ball."

Bernardo Henry (WR/DB), 5'11" 195 pounds, comes from McNeese State University. In 26 games, he had 150 rushing yards, 455 receiving yards, 1 rushing touchdown, 3 receiving touchdowns, and 39 kick returns for 985 yards and 1 touchdown. Head Coach Bruce Cowdrey is excited about this rare quality of receiver. "With Bernardo's rare combo of size and speed, running a 10.2 100 meter dash, I hope that we are able to showcase his world class speed in all phases of football. This will be his opportunity to break out since he played at McNeese State, which is primarily a run based offense," Cowdrey said.
