Olympic Tavern to host HogTalk this season

Rockford, Ill.-The Rockford IceHogs and the Olympic Tavern will host a one-hour talk show each Monday during the 2004-05 season at the Olympic Tavern from 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. IceHogs General Manager Ryan Washatka made the announcement on Monday. There will be 24 total shows beginning Monday, October 18 and running through Monday, April 11.

Budweiser HogTalk will be hosted by 104.9 FM, WXRX's Jim Stone and Double T for a second straight year. IceHogs Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Steve Martinson will be on hand at each show along with three IceHogs players a week. Fans will have an opportunity to meet and interact with all of the IceHogs players, coaches and staff members each Monday.

The Olympic Tavern is located at 2327 North Main Street in Rockford. The Olympic Tavern will feature Budweiser specials each Monday and fans can stick around for great food and atmosphere at one of Rockford's favorite restaurants.

Interviews from each show will be replayed during each game broadcast on 1330 AM, WNTA. Each game will be broadcast live and the interviews will play back during the intermissions. For questions about Budweiser HogTalk, contact Mike Peck at the IceHogs office at (815) 986-6465.

Next Game: The Rockford IceHogs begin the 2004-05 regular season on Friday, October 15 at 7:05 p.m. when the Hogs battle their rival Quad City Mallards. The first 4,000 fans to the game will receive a Rally Towel courtesy of Bud Light. For tickets call (815) 968-5222.
