Mallards vs. Hogs Exhibition Game Cancelled

Moline, IL-Quad City Mallards President and General Manager Howard Cornfield today announced that due to an accumulation of injuries by both teams, Tuesday night's exhibition game between the Mallards and the Rockford IceHogs at The MARK has been cancelled. Refunds are available at The MARK box office or point of purchase.

"With the regular season rapidly approaching and injuries mounting on both sides, it was in the best interests of both organizations to cancel the exhibition game and concentrate on preparations for the regular season," said Cornfield.

The Mallards open the 2004-05 season on Friday at Rockford. Game time is 7:05 p.m. The game will be broadcast on WFXN AM 1230 and on-line at www.qcmallards.com.

The Mallards begin the home portion of their tenth anniversary season on October 30th vs. Kansas City at The MARK of the Quad Cities. Season tickets are available via the Mallards ticket office at (309) 764-7825. Individual tickets for all games including Opening Night and Kerry Toporowski's Jersey Retirement on November 27th are available now via Ticketmaster at (563) 326-1111 or at The MARK box office.
