LAST GAME:

Oklahoma's four-game winning streak was snapped with a 10-3 loss at Round Rock Friday night. Former Ranger prospect Nick Gorneault hit a first inning grand slam, and the Express added five runs in the third of RedHawks starter Steve Rowe (3-5). Nate Gold had three of Oklahoma's six hits, including his 14th home run of the season. Joaquin Arias added a solo home run in the eighth, his third of the year.

ROUGH GO FOR ROWE:

Steve Rowe has lost three straight starts for Oklahoma. The RedHawks reliever turned starter allowed nine run yesterday, five of which were earned, and walked five en route to his fifth loss of the season. No Oklahoma pitcher had walked more than four batters in a game this season.

CRUZ RETURNS:

Nelson Cruz returned to the RedHawks starting lineup last night, his start time since Sunday against Iowa. Cruz went 1-2 with a pair of walks. The ALl-Star right fielder is two home runs shy of tying for tenth place in Oklahoma City Triple-A history (Scott Sheldon- 28 in 1999).

LOE'S BACK UP:

Kameron Loe was activated from the diabled list and recalled by the Texas Rangers prior to Friday's action. Loe had been on the RedHawks disabled since July 1 with a sore back, but had not pitched since his start on June 19 at Nashville. The right-hander is 2-4 with the RedHawks this season with a 5.59 earned run average in 19 appearances, including three starts. Loe has also made four relief appearances for Texas this season spanning two seperate stints and holds a 1-0 mark with a 2.16 ERA.

WELCOME BACK WES:

Wes Littleton's second stint with Texas this season lasted once appearance. The right-hander was optioned back to Oklahoma on Friday, just two days after he was recalled. Littleton pitched three and a third in Texas' 11-10 extra inning loss to the LA Angels of Anaheim on Thursday in relief of Scott Feldman, allowing two runs on two hits. Littleton has made a total of six appearances for Texas this year, with no wins or losses and has an ERA of 7.71 at the Major League level.

ROUND ROCK AT A GLANCE:

Reggie Abercrombie was sent outright to Round Rock yesterday. The 26 year-old outfielder hit ..235 over 14 games with Houston, knocking one home run during his stay... Runelvys Hernandez was optioned back to Round Rock on Tuesday. Hernandez made three starts for the Astros after having his contract purchaesed on June 26, going 0-3 with a 10.92 ERA.

AROUND THE ORGANIZATION:

Texas beat the Chicago White Sox 7-2... Corpus Christi roughed up Frisco 12-3... Bakersfield lost at Stockton 12-7... Clinton beat West Michigan 4-1... Spokane edged Vancouver 5-2.

DOT-DOT-DOT:

Texas added catcher Emerson Frostad to the RedHawks roster earlier today. Frostad hit .261 with five home runs and 34 runs batted in for Frisco this season and has been the RoughRiders primary backstop since Max Ramirez was promoted to Texas on June 21... Texas purchased the contract of Joselo Diaz from Round Rock yesterday to fill out their pitching staff and 40-man roster. Diaz began the season in the Mets organization, but was released and signed by Texas in early June. Diaz was a RedHawk during the 2006 season... Monday's game at Round Rock will be televised locally on FSN Southwest. The program will start at 7 pm. It will be the first RedHawks road game ever broadcast back to the Oklahoma City area. Jim Byers will handle to play-by-play duties for the broadcast.

Every game this season can be heard on the RedHawks Radio Network, led by broadcaster Jim Byers for the ninth season, and joined by Adam Marco during each homestand. Fox Sports Radio AM 1340 in Oklahoma City will serve as the flagship station in 2008. The network affiliates this season are KSIW 1450 AM in Woodward, KXCA 1380 AM in Lawton, KPNS 1350 AM in Duncan, KTJS 1420 AM in Hobart, KGFF 1450 AM in Shawnee, and KWSH 1260 AM in Wewoka.
