Oklahoma Cavalry Announces 2007-08 Cavs Dance Team Members

LAWTON, OKLA.-- The Oklahoma Cavalry professional CBA basketball team has selected ten new members to the first-ever Cavs Dance Team in Lawton, Okla.

Choreographer/Coordinator Shelby McClure said she could not be happier with the outstanding ladies whom will represent the Cavs Dance Team this inaugural season.

"I am really excited to have the team in place," McClure said. "Now we can focus in and start getting ready for the exhibition game and home-opener."

The ten members of the 2007-08 Cavs Dance Team include Crystal Celsur, Allee Cox, Michelle Greear, Kristie Ihler, Jada Jedlicka, Natasha Mays, Cherisse Miller, Kassidy Skinner, Michelle Stewart and Eshell Williams.

McClure said the dancers have already started practicing for the upcoming games and cannot wait to get out into the community.

"The ladies are extremely excited about finally performing, and are not only thrilled to be dancing for the Cavs but also are equally excited to be a part of the Lawton community," McClure said.

The Cavs Dance Team will perform at all 24 home games and will also stay active in the community by making appearances at many events and functions throughout the year.

In addition, the Cavs Dance Team will conduct a Winter Dance Clinic Dec. 15 for ages 4-18.
