Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers and Nashville Sounds continue their series at 6:35 p.m. at First Tennessee Park. The series is tied, 1-1. The Dodgers own the best winning percentage in the PCL (.630), and are tied with Fresno and Salt Lake for the second-most wins (29) behind Memphis' league-leading 30 victories.

Last Game: Caleb Ferguson turned in an impressive Triple-A debut with 10 strikeouts over five scoreless innings, but the Dodgers offense struggled in a 1-0 loss against Nashville Saturday night at First Tennessee Park. The 21-year-old lefty allowed three hits with three walks and a season-high 10 strikeouts. All three hits allowed were singles, and he held Nashville 1-for-7 with runners on base and 0-for-4 with runners in scoring position. The Sounds pitched their sixth shutout of the season, as the Dodgers were blanked for the second time in 2018. OKC produced just four hits, tying the team's season low. Sounds starting pitcher Matt Milburn (1-0) went six scoreless innings in his second Triple-A start. He scattered three hits, with no walks and four strikeouts to earn his first win with Nashville. Former OKC Dodger Jeremy Bleich held the Dodgers scoreless between the seventh and eighth innings, and Bobby Wahl retired the side in order in the ninth, earning his fifth save. Jake Smolinski broke the scoreless tie in the bottom of the sixth, hitting a solo home run to left field that proved to be the difference. Adam Liberatore (1-1) surrendered his first earned run of the season with OKC on Smolinski's homer and took the loss.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Lefty Manny Bañuelos (4-3) looks to snap a personal losing skid when he takes the mound against Nashville...Bañuelos pitched a season-high 7.0 innings in his last start May 21 in Memphis. He allowed just two runs and six hits with three walks and eight strikeouts, but was charged with his third straight loss in OKC's 2-1 defeat...Over his last 13.0 innings, Bañuelos has allowed 11 runs and 20 hits, including 10 extra-base hits, and has gone 0-3 as a result. Prior to his losses, he'd allowed a total of seven runs over 32.0 innings while holding the opposition to a .196 batting average...His 1.22 WHIP is tied for sixth-best in the PCL and he ranks 11th in the league with a 3.40 ERA. He leads OKC in starts (9), wins (4), innings (45.0) and strikeouts (49)...Left-handed batters are just 6-for-32 against him this season...He signed with the Dodgers as a free agent Nov. 14, 2017 after spending 2017 with Triple-A Salt Lake in the Los Angeles Angels organization...Bañuelos has appeared in seven career ML games (six starts), all with Atlanta in 2015...Tonight is Bañuelos' second career appearance against the Sounds. He pitched 1.1 innings of relief for the Salt Lake Bees last season against Nashville July 31, allowing one unearned run and one hit with two strikeouts.

Against the Sounds: 2018: 4-2 2017: 11-5 All-time: 180-146 At NAS: 85-78 The Dodgers and Sounds are meeting for their second series of the season -- and for the second time in a week...The Dodgers won their previous series May 17-20 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, 3-1. The Dodgers outscored the Sounds, 32-15, and outhit Nashville, 50-30, in the four-game set, batting .350 as a team. OKC's pitching staff racked up 47 strikeouts in the series...Donovan Solano paced OKC, batting .500 (9-for-18), with three doubles, a homer, six RBI and four runs scored. Travis Taijeron had a team-best seven RBI, and Jake Peter homered twice...In 2017, the Dodgers won the season series, 11-5, posting at least 10 wins against the Sounds for the third straight year. The Dodgers went 6-2 at home and 5-3 in Music City...OKC outscored the Sounds, 85-54,and Dodgers pitchers racked up 158 strikeouts in 16 meetings for an average of 9.9 per game...Since 2015, the Dodgers are 36-18 against the Sounds, including a 17-9 mark at First Tennessee Park.

Road Rash: Although the Dodgers have a sterling 20-4 record at home, it has not been the same story on the road. With last night's loss, the Dodgers fell to 9-13 in road games this season, marking their seventh loss in their last nine road games and their 11th loss in their last 15 road games...Of OKC's 13 total road losses, nine have come by one or two runs...The Dodgers have been held to two or fewer runs seven times over the last 14 road games, with five games tallying one or no runs...Last night the Dodgers tied their season low with just four hits for the second time in the last three games...The team is slashing .237/.300/.363 with 3.8 runs per game on the road compared to .317/.379/.493 with 6.1 runs per game at home...Through six games of the current road trip, the Dodgers are batting .208 (41x197) and have scored 22 runs. They've struck out 62 times against 13 walks, with four games of 10-plus strikeouts. Subtracting Tuesday's eight-run, seven-hit explosion in the 10th inning of the 10-3 win in Memphis, the Dodgers are batting .181 (34x188) with 14 runs and are 9-for-47 with RISP during the trip.

On the Farm: Kyle Farmer did not play Saturday, but led the OKC offense Friday, posting a game-high three hits, including a homer and double. He also scored twice...Since being optioned by the Los Angeles Dodgers, Farmer has hit safely in seven of eight games with OKC, going 12-for-32 (.375) with nine RBI and six runs...Against Nashville the last two seasons, Farmer is batting .422 (19x45) with two homers, five doubles, nine runs and 11 RBI in 11 games. Including the 2016 postseason, he's batted .414 (24x58) with nine extra-base hits, 11 runs and 13 RBI in 14 career meetings

Rock Steady: Catcher Rocky Gale has hit safely in 17 of his last 19 games, batting .368 (25x68) with six extra-base hits (3 HR) and nine RBI while raising his season average from .200 to .320. He's been even hotter over his last 16 games, going 23-for-56 (.411) with eight multi-hit outings...Between Gale, Cael Brockmeyer and Kyle Farmer, Dodgers catchers have combined to bat .358 (59x165) with 27 RBI this season.

"Pen Pals: In his last 14 appearances, reliever Joe Broussard has only been scored upon twice, allowing three runs (two earned) and nine hits, with two walks and 18 strikeouts over 16.2 IP. He owns a 0.62 WHIP in May and has held opponents to a .152 average...Switch-handed pitcher Pat Venditte has put together 11 straight scoreless outings with OKC, totaling 14.1 innings, allowing four hits and one walk with 16 strikeouts. Venditte has not allowed an earned run in 12 straight outings (15.1 IP) and has not issued a walk in 10 consecutive appearances (12.1 IP). Opponents have gone 4-for-50 (.080) during the stretch. He ranks tied for third among league relievers with a .152 opponent average...C.C. Lee leads all PCL relievers with a 15.43 strikeouts-per-nine-innings radio and ranks fifth in the PCL with a .157 opponent average...Last night Adam Liberatore allowed his first home run at any level since Sept. 2, 2016, when San Diego's Yangervis Solarte took him deep. In between homers he made a total of 42 appearances totaling 38.0 IP.

Around the Horn: The Dodgers' 3.05 team ERA paces the PCL, as they have allowed a league-low 160 runs (137 ER) and a league-low 353 hits. Their 30 homers allowed is second-fewest in the league, just one more than Nashville...Breyvic Valera was held without a hit Saturday night, ending his five-game hitting streak, which had tied a season high. Valera had hit safely in nine of his previous 10 games, going 14-for-36 (.389) with two doubles, a triple, three homers, 10 runs and six RBI...OKC has committed just one error over the last six games.
