Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers continue their series against the Round Rock Express at 7:05 p.m. at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Gates open at 6 p.m. and the first 1,000 fans will receive an OKC Dodgers water bottle. Friday Night Fireworks will follow the game...The Pacific Coast League-leading Dodgers have a 2-1 lead in their current series and a four-game lead ahead of second-place El Paso in the East Division standings.

Last Game: Michael Busch hit a go-ahead home run in the seventh inning to help send the Oklahoma City Dodgers to a 6-5 win against the Round Rock Express Thursday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. OKC trailed, 5-4, and had a runner on base when Busch went deep to left-center field to give the Dodgers the lead. Round Rock initially took the first lead of the night in the first inning on a RBI double by Elier Hernandez. OKC answered with a RBI single by Jason Martin in the bottom of the frame. In the second inning, the Dodgers took the lead on a RBI double by Miguel Vargas followed by a sacrifice fly by Jake Lamb. A three-run homer by the Express' Nash Knight in the fourth inning regained the lead for Round Rock, which then added a run on a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning. The Dodgers trimmed the lead to one run in the sixth inning when a run scored on a fielder's choice with the bases loaded before Busch's homer in the seventh inning.

Today's Probable Pitchers: Jon Duplantier (4-0) will make his first start of the season and 19th overall appearance tonight...He last pitched 2.1 innings of relief June 17 in Reno, piggybacking starter Beau Burrows. Duplantier tied his season high by allowing three runs on three hits with two walks and one strikeout and did not factor into the decision of OKC's 12-7 win...He is tied for the second-most wins on the team and opponents have batted just .194 against him...Right-handed batters are hitting just .111, but lefties are hitting .325. He's holding all batters to a .184 clip with runners on base...Duplantier was selected by the Dodgers from the Giants in the minor league phase of the Rule 5 Draft Dec. 8, 2021 after he had signed with the Giants just four days prior as a minor league free agent...In 2021, he made a combined seven appearances with Arizona and Triple-A Reno before suffering a season-ending lat strain July 10 against Las Vegas...He was selected in the third round of the 2016 MLB Draft by Arizona out of Rice University...Tonight will be his first start since July 2021 and will be his fourth appearance of the season against the Express.

Sam Gaviglio (4-3) is scheduled to follow Duplantier...Gaviglio most recently pitched June 18 in Reno and combined with starting pitcher Mitch White on a 7-0 shutout. He pitched the final three innings and allowed one hit and no walks with three strikeouts, retiring nine of 10 batters faced. As a result, Gaviglio earned the first save of his pro career, spanning 259 appearances between the Majors, Minors and KBO...Prior to his last outing, Gaviglio had allowed 17 runs and 20 hits over just 9.2 innings between his three previous games...Gaviglio signed with LAD as a free agent Jan. 31, 2022 after splitting last year with Triple-A Round Rock and SSG Landers of the KBO in Korea...He made his ML debut May 11, 2017 with the Seattle Mariners at Toronto, striking out the first batter he faced...He was selected by St. Louis in the fifth round of the 2011 MLB Draft out of Oregon State University...He has made two appearances (one start) against the Express this season, allowing eight runs and 14 hits (4 HR) over 8.0 innings.

Against the Express: 2022: 10-5 2021: 16-13 All-time: 156-126 At OKC: 71-62 The Dodgers and Express play their third series of the season and third in seven weeks, but first of 2022 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark...The Dodgers entered this series with an 8-4 record in the season series to date, most recently winning a six-game set at Dell Diamond, 4-2, May 31-June 5. The teams exchanged shutouts in their first two games of the last series and the Dodgers posted wins in three of the last four meetings...Through the first 15 games of the season between the teams, Miguel Vargas has a team-best 22 hits and 18 RBI. Pitcher Beau Burrows is 2-0 against the Express with 19 K's in 16.0 innings...The teams had a wild first series in Round Rock May 10-15, which OKC won, 4-2, winning four straight games in the middle of the series. OKC recorded its largest shutout win in the team's Bricktown era (since 1998) with a 19-0 victory May 12 and Yefry Ramírez became the first OKC Dodger and first pitcher throughout the entire PCL to throw a nine-inning shutout since 2018. Six different players homered in that same game for the first time in the team's Bricktown era. In series finale May 15, OKC lost a game when scoring at least 13 runs for just the fifth time during the team's Bricktown era and for the first time since 2007, as Round Rock won, 14-13...The Dodgers have won five of the last six season series between the teams.

Life At the Top: With Thursday's win, the Dodgers improved to 43-26 overall, matching their season-high mark of 17 games above .500. The Dodgers have now followed up each of their last eight losses with a victory and have not lost consecutive games since May 27...OKC has not been at least 18 games above .500 since finishing the 2016 season with an 81-60 record, and tonight will be their third chance this season to meet that mark...The Dodgers have now won six of their last eight games, eight of the last 11 games and 12 of the last 16 games. They have also won seven of their last nine home games...OKC has won four straight series and is 9-1-3 through their first 13 series of the season, with their lone series loss going to Reno in OKC in late May.

Busch League: Michael Busch hit his fourth home run in the last eight games last night as well as his 17th of the season overall between Double-A Tulsa and OKC to lead all Dodgers minor leaguers. Busch has now hit safely in 13 of his last 14 games, going 18-for-59 (.305) with nine extra-base hits and 13 RBI, including a 12-game hitting streak that ended Wednesday and matched his career-long streak from earlier this season May 8-20 between Double-A Tulsa (seven games) and OKC (five games)...Over his last 11 games, Busch is 15-for-45 (.333) with eight extra-base hits. He's tallied at least one extra-base hit in seven of his last nine games.

On the Lamb: Jake Lamb picked up a hit, walk, RBI and scored a run Thursday as he boosted his career-best hitting streak to 14 games. During the stretch, he is 21-for-54 (.389) with three homers, seven doubles, 14 RBI and 12 runs scored. The streak is the longest by a Dodgers player this season, the longest active hitting streak in the PCL and tied for the second-longest active hitting streak in the Minors. It is the longest hitting streak by an OKC Dodgers player since Edwin Ríos hit safely in 14 straight games in August 2019. The last OKC player with a hitting streak longer than 14 games was Gavin Lux when he hit safely in 16 consecutive games June 27-July 19, 2019...Lamb has also reached base in 18 straight games for the longest active on-base streak among OKC players and his second streak of at least 15 games. Miguel Vargas is the lone Dodgers player with a longer on-base streak this season, having reached base in 19 straight games. Lamb has now reached base in 28 of his last 29 games and in 43 of his last 45 games. Since April 24 (45 games), Lamb is slashing .331/.443/.620 with 12 homers, 12 doubles, 33 walks, 41 RBI and 35 runs scored...Lamb leads the Dodgers with 15 home runs (T-3rd, PCL) and 50 RBI (T-3rd, PCL), while his 66 hits (7th, PCL) are second-most on the team and his 39 walks are tied for second-most (T-3rd, PCL).

On the Offensive: After being shut out Wednesday night, the Dodgers responded with six runs Thursday, scoring six runs for the seventh time in the last eight games (58 R) and for the 12th time in the last 15 games (103 R)...With Michael Busch's two-run homer last night, OKC has now hit a home run in 10 of the last 11 games (15 HR) and in 16 of the last 18 games (25 HR)...The Dodgers lead all of Triple-A with 347 walks and a .372 OBP, while their 450 runs scored and .830 OPS are second and their .458 SLG is third, .272 AVG is tied for third and 636 hits are fifth. The OBP and OPS each rank second overall in the Minors, while their run total is third...With last night's victory, the Dodgers have won 14 of their last 15 games when scoring least six runs and 15 of their last 16 games when scoring at least four runs...Over the last 26 games, the Dodgers are 16-10. In the 16 wins, they've batted .292 (162x555) with 128 runs scored (8.0 rpg), and at least six runs in 15 of 16 games.

Gettin' Miggy With It: Miguel Vargas hit a double and recorded two RBI Thursday and is now 9-for-24 during a six-game hitting streak with six RBI, five walks and four runs scored. In 15 games against the Express this season, Vargas is slashing .349/.423/.619 with 22 hits and 18 RBI...Vargas leads the PCL with 57 runs scored this season and is second with 75 hits and 129 total bases. His 39 walks, four triples and 50 RBI are each tied for third. His 28 extra-base hits are tied for sixth.

Clearance at JMart: Jason Martin singled and collected a RBI last night as he extended his season-best on-base streak to 15 games. Martin has hit safely in 12 of his last 13 games, including a season-best 11-game hitting streak that came to an end Wednesday night. Over the last 13 games, Martin is batting .354 (17x48) with four home runs, two triples, four doubles and 16 RBI. He's picked up at least one RBI in nine of his last 11 games (15 RBI)...Martin ranks among the league's top 10 in triples (T-1st, 5), runs (T-4th, 45), extra-base hits (5th, 29), RBI (6th, 47), SLG (6th, .557), OPS (8th, .946) and total bases (9th, 113).

Drew Point: Drew Avans singled, drew two walks and scored two runs Thursday night as he has reached base in 24 of his last 25 games with a plate appearance. Since May 26 (24 games), Avans is slashing .333/.461/.543 with 27 hits, 23 runs, 17 walks and 14 RBI. He has hit safely in eight of his last 10 games (13x38)...In June (19 games), Avans leads the team with 20 runs and 12 walks (tied with Jake Lamb) while his 23 hits rank second.

Around the Horn: Yesterday's game marked the fourth time in the last nine home games the Dodgers have won after trailing in the seventh inning or later...Last night both Jake Lamb and Miguel Vargas reached 50 RBI for the season. As a result, they are the only teammates across all 120 clubs in the Minors to record at least 50 RBI. Among Major League teams, only the New York Mets have a pair of players with 50 or more RBI (Pete Alonso and Francisco Lindor)...The Dodgers have committed at least one error in seven of the last nine games (11 E). They are now tied with Round Rock for the most errors in the PCL (63 E)...Ryan Noda stole his 10th base of the season last night. He recorded just four steals during the entire 2021 season with Double-A Tulsa...The Dodgers drew seven more walks last night and have walked at least seven times in four of the last six games (39 BB). On the other hand, the pitching staff handed out eight walks and has walked at least seven batters in six of the last 11 games (65 BB).
