The Salt Lake Bees dropped their third straight contest against the Reno Aces Friday night by a score of 2-1. The Bees fell to 32-38 while the Aces improved to 38-32.

Jose Rojas went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, the 46th of his Bees career. His 46 home runs in a Bees uniform ties him with Matt Thaiss for ninth all-time. Thaiss went 1-for-4 in the game and Jack Mayfield went 1-for-4 with a double.

The Bees' bullpen turned in four scoreless innings of work and gave up just one hit in relief of Jhonathan Diaz. Diaz allowed just two runs over five innings of work.

The Aces hit a home run in the first inning to get the scoring started and added another run in the fourth. Rojas hit his home run in the sixth inning to get the Bees on the board. Salt Lake had a runner in scoring position in the eighth inning, but couldn't bring him home to tie the game.

The Bees will try to break their skid tomorrow night at 6:35 p.m.
