ODO DAY: Astros right-hander Jake Odorizzi is set to begin an MLB Rehab Assignment with a start Friday for the Space Cowboys. He has been on the 15-Day Injured list since May 17 with left lower leg discomfort. Odorizzi has gone 3-2 with a 3.13 ERA (11 ER/31.2 IP) in seven starts with the Astros this season. He had gone 2-0 with a 0.54 ERA (1 ER/16.2 IP) over his last three starts prior to being placed on the Injured List.

SWEET LEW: Lewis Brinson hit three doubles on Thursday, tying Alex De Goti (5/30/21 vs. Albuquerque) for the most in a single game in franchise history.

VIVE LA JP: JP France struck out six batters in his start Thursday and is fifth in the Pacific Coast League with 73 strikeouts. His 11.46 strikeouts-per-nine-innings this season is fourth-best of Pacific Coast League pitchers (min. 50 IP).
