Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers continue their homestand and open a four-game series against the Reno Aces at 7:05 p.m. at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The Dodgers lost Tuesday, but have won seven of their last nine games.

Last Game: Tacoma scored three runs between the fifth and sixth innings to lead to a 3-2 win Tuesday over the Dodgers and earn a series split at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The Dodgers took a 1-0 lead in the third inning after Darwin Barney doubled, and Darnell Sweeney followed with a RBI single. Tacoma tied the game in the top of the fifth inning with a RBI groundout by Steve Baron. The Rainiers scored two runs in the top of the sixth inning to take a 3-1 lead, scoring one run on a RBI single by Justin Ruggiano and adding another when Jabari Blash hit into a fielder's choice. Jose Peraza led off the bottom of the sixth with a single, then stole second and third base before scoring on a RBI double to left field by Austin Barnes to cut Tacoma's lead to 3-2. The Dodgers did not record another hit after Barnes' double, and the Tacoma pitching staff retired the final eight Dodgers hitters. Roenis Elias (4-2) earned the win for the Rainiers, allowing two runs on six hits over 7.0 innings. He issued one walk and struck out seven. Tony Zych earned his third save of the season. Dodgers starting pitcher Zach Lee (9-5) was charged with the loss, allowing three runs and six hits over 6.0 innings. He issued one walk and struck out five.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Brandon Beachy (1-1) returns to the mound coming off back-to-back quality starts...Beachy last started Aug. 14 on the road in New Orleans. He allowed three runs on four hits over 6.0 innings with four walks and six strikeouts in a no decision. All the runs scored on a three-run homer by Brady Shoemaker in the fourth inning. Outside of that frame, Beachy held the Zephyrs scoreless and to one hit over his other five innings...In his past two starts combined, Beachy has held the opposition 5-for-43 (.116), with one extra-base hit. He's had just four runners reach scoring position over 13.0 innings...In eight starts with OKC, Beachy is holding left-handed batters to a .186 clip. He's been great at limiting the opposition with two outs, allowing a .083 (2x24) average with runners on base when there are two down...Beachy has only picked up two decisions in his eight starts with OKC and has received a no decision in each of his last four starts...His tenure with OKC began in late June with four starts during a MLB Rehab Assignment, coming off the second Tommy John surgery of his career...Tonight marks his first career appearance against the Aces.

Against the Aces: 2015: 0-0 2014: 3-1 All-time: 16-8 In OKC: 10-2

This marks the Dodgers' lone series of the season against the Aces...Oklahoma City won the 2014 series, 3-1, in Reno. They split the first two games before OKC won the final two meetings and outscored the Aces, 31-21, overall in the four-game set...Oklahoma City is 10-2 against the Aces in Bricktown overall and has won eight of the last nine games at home...The Aces last visited OKC July 30-Aug. 2, 2013. The RedHawks swept the four-game series, which was part of the team's record-setting 17-game home winning streak. Each game was decided by one or two runs, with each of the last three decided by just one run...OKC has a 4-1-1 season series record against Reno since they started playing one another in 2009.

Ups and Downs: The Dodgers have won seven of their last nine games, following a 14-game stretch where they lost four straight, won five straight, and then lost five straight...Omaha won Tuesday night and now sits 6.5 games behind the Dodgers for first place in the American Northern Division. Iowa lost last night and dropped to third place, trailing OKC by seven games. The Dodgers' largest division lead was 11 games entering play on July 4, but they have gone 21-22 since. After their first-place lead was cut all the way down to three games, the Dodgers have added 3.5 games to their lead since Aug. 1...Fresno won for the 16th time in 17 games last night to surpass the Dodgers as the new PCL leader with 75 wins.

Money on the Mound: During the team's last nine games, the Dodgers pitching staff has surrendered just 15 runs (1.65 ERA) and has held their opponent scoreless in 71 of 82 innings. They've allowed two or fewer runs in seven of the nine contests. Opponents are batting .179 (50x280) with 15 extra-base hits (3 HR, 12 2B) and have gone 8-for-49 (.163) with runners in scoring position...The Dodgers' 2.89 ERA in August paces the league.

The Star-ters are Aligned: Over the last 10 games, Dodgers starting pitchers have combined for a 1.54 ERA (11 ER/64.1 IP) with eight quality starts and five outings lasting at least 7.0 innings. They've held opponents to a .168 average (37x220) -- including 5-for-34 with runners in scoring position --- while posting 58 strikeouts against 18 walks...The starting rotation has delivered six straight quality starts.

Rhymin' and Stealin': The Dodgers went 8-for-8 in their stolen base attempts during the recently completed series against Tacoma. They have stolen at least one base in four straight games, marking the team's longest stretch of consecutive games with a stolen base since June 19-24 when they stole six bases over five straight games...Darnell Sweeney tallied his league-leading 32nd stolen base of the season Tuesday, and Jose Peraza swiped two bags. It was Peraza's fourth multi-steal game of the season, and his first since June 24 vs. Indianapolis. Combining his totals between OKC and Gwinnett, Peraza ranks tied for third among Triple-A players with 31 steals...On the other hand, opponents have been successful in 23 of their last 26 stolen base attempts, as well as 29 of their last 33.

Home-less: The Dodgers have been held to two or fewer runs in four of their last six home games and have scored more than three runs just twice over their past 10 games in OKC. Subtracting their nine-run, 12-hit outburst on Sunday, the Dodgers have averaged 2.0 runs per game over the remaining five of the last six home games. Over those five games, they've batted .211 (33x157) with one home run and have gone 5-for-36 with runners in scoring position.

Double Down: Last night the Dodgers tied their season high by turning four double plays in one game for the fifth time this season, and for the second time in the past three games. The Dodgers currently rank second the PCL with 137 double plays (Albuquerque - 144).

Looking to Hit: The Dodgers have drawn just one walk over the past three games (and last 28 innings).
