Goaltender Kevin St. Pierre stopped 38 of the 39 shots he faced and rookie Lucas LaBelle had the first two goal game of his pro career in leading the Tulsa Oilers to a 4-1 victory over the Oklahoma City Blazers Tuesday night at the BOK Center.

After a scoreless first period, LaBelle scored the first two goals of the game, jamming in two rebounds from close range. Matt Maccarone's backhander found a hole betweeen Andy Franck's pads to make it 3-0 before the second period ended.

The Oilers stretched their lead to 4-0 in the third, when Jake Riddle finished off a two on one break. The only time the puck eluded St. Pierre was Chad Hinz' s wraparound just inside the left post with 1:42 left to play.

The interesting in-state series has both teams with over .500 records due to two Oklahoma City overtime wins (one in a shootout one in overtime). The Oilers are now 4-3-2 in the season series for 10 points in nine games and Oklahoma City is 5-4-0, also for 10 points.

The Oilers host the red hot Mississippi RiverKings who have won nine straight games on Friday night at 7:35 p.m.
