Ten Hut!: The Tulsa Oilers salute the military and the future this weekend. After road games at Wichita on Wednesday and Missouri on Friday (both at 7:05 p.m.) the Oilers return home for two games with Bossier-Shreveport, Saturday at 7:35 p.m. and Sunday at 4:05 p.m. Saturday the Oilers will salute the military, and Sunday is Kids Day. All games can be heard via the internet at www.tulsaoilers.com and viewed at CHL TV.

Tough Week: The Oilers managed two of a possible eight points last week, with two overtime losses. They lost 4-3 in a shootout to Missouri, then lost 4-1 in a rematch at Missouri. The Oilers had the same results against Bossier-Shreveport, losing 5-4 in overtime, and then suffering their first shutout of the season, 6-0 at home on Sunday.

SAAALUTE: For Saturday's game, the Oilers will wear special camouflage jerseys which will be auctioned after the game with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Oklahoma National Guard. American Airlines Family fun Day will feature a number of events geared for kids. Following the game, families can skate with the Oilers.

New Faces: And some familiar ones. The Oilers signed goaltender Marco Emond, who played for the Oilers in the 2005-06 season. They also signed left wing David Alexandre Beauregard who led the team in goals in both 2006-07 and 07-08. He scored the Oilers only goal at Missouri on Friday, just 1:17 into the game. The Oilers also added right wing Luke Stauffacher, who scored 39 goals for Muskegon in the International Hockey League last season, when coached by current Oiler coach Bruce Ramsay. The Oilers placed defenseman Tyler Fleck on season ending injured reserve and released goaltender Francois Lemay and left wing Brett Liscomb.
