Oilers Re-Assign Ryan Martindale from Stockton Thunder to Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City - Oklahoma City Barons General Manager Bill Scott announced today the Edmonton Oilers have reassigned forward Ryan Martindale from the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL to the Oklahoma City Barons.

Martindale, a 6-3, 207-pounder from Oshawa, Ontario has played in 34 games with Stockton, recording 15 points (6-9-15). The Oilers 3rd round choice (61st overall) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft has played in two games with Oklahoma City this season. Martindale attended training camp with the Barons and played in the team's preseason game. Prior to turning pro, he skated in 243 games over four seasons with the Ottawa 67's, recording 207 points (85-122-207).

The Barons return to action Wednesday when they host the Texas Stars at the Cox Convention Center. Faceoff is set for 7 p.m. The game can be heard on AM 1340 The Game or seen on a pay-per-view basis via AHLLive.com.
