Crunch Recall Nick Schaus

Syracuse, NY (February 21, 2012) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have recalled defenseman Nick Schaus from the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.

Schaus, played in 10 games with the Jackals this season recording five points (1g, 4a) and four penalty minutes. The Orchard Park, NY, native has also played in 22 games with the Crunch this year totaling four points (1g, 3a) and eight penalty minutes. Schaus has collected 25 points (5g, 20a) in 103 career AHL games with Worcester and Syracuse.

The Crunch return home from a four-game road trip to take on the Worcester Sharks Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. at the War Memorial. Tickets for Tuesday's game are buy one get one courtesy of Time Warner Cable.
