B-Sens Host Dollars for Scholars Charity Hockey Game this Saturday

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today the details of the first ever Dollars for Scholars charity hockey game which is set to take place on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 4:30 p.m.

Members of the Binghamton police department will take on teachers from the Windsor Central School District in a special hockey game to benefit the Windsor/Kirkwood Dollars for Scholars Scholarship Fund.

Following the charity game, the B-Sens will host the Adirondack Phantoms at 7:05 p.m.

Dollars for Scholars, a division of Scholarship America, boasts nearly 1,100 locally based, volunteer-driven chapters serving students in nearly 3,500 communities across the country. Dollars for Scholars chapters help hometown students achieve their educational goals by raising scholarship funds, establishing endowments, providing assistance with college readiness and the financial aid process, and distributing scholarships each year.

Tickets can be purchased for $18 and include admission to both the Dollars for Scholars charity hockey game and the B-Sens game. $5 from each ticket sold through this special offer will be donated to the Windsor/Kirkwood Dollars for Scholars Scholarship Fund.
