Oilers Football Brings in Caleb Wells

Tulsa, Okla. - Tulsa Oilers Football, proud member of the IFL, announced Wednesday the signing of defensive end Caleb Wells.
Wells (27) signed a contract with the Sioux Falls Storm of the IFL and the Gillette Mustangs of CIF in 2022. Before his IFL and CIF signings, The Portland, Oregon native played for the Columbus Lions of the NAL during the 2020-21 season.
The 6'7, 250 lbs defensive lineman played his college ball in 2016 at Golden West College, where he played five games, recording ten tackles. Wells played the 2017 season at Grambling State (FCS), getting into three games and recording one solo tackle. The former Tiger then transferred to Angelo State University (DII) for the 2018 season, playing two games.
The former FCS lineman attended Grambling State's Pro Day in 2019.
With this announcement, the Oilers announced roster now includes James Summers(QB), Deonte Cruse(OL/DL), Maliek Stephens(RB), Dominic Logan(OL/DL), Christopher Ivy(OL), Eric Sadler(DL), Jeremiah Harris(WR), William Auwae(OL), Tre Harvey(LB), Jamon Langford(WR), Kazon Edwards(LB), Tre King(RB), Bobby Froehlich (QB), Ja'Davien Williams(DL), Joshua Robinson(RB), Tyler Jones(WR), Myles Tease(WR), and Caleb Wells(DL).
The Oilers will begin their inaugural season in 2023.
