Quad City Steamwheelers Re-Sign Defensive Lineman Raekwon Jefferson

Quad City Steamwheelers News Release
The Quad City Steamwheelers, defending Champions of the IFL's Eastern Conference, have re-signed defensive lineman/offensive lineman Raekwon Jefferson.
A player local to the Quad City area, Jefferson played for Bettendorf High School and Iowa Central CC. Jefferson spent his rookie season with the Steamwheelers in 2022.
Director of Player Personnel Ryan Michael told SteamwheelersFootball.com "Raekwon has tremendous size and strength, displaying the ability to collapse the pocket and make quarterbacks very uncomfortable. At 6'5, 310-he uses his hands well, obstructs the vision of QBs and makes plays. I'm excited to see his continued growth within Coach Ross' system as he heads into his second season."
"He has the build to be very dominant. He gained a wealth of knowledge this past season. When he uses that knowledge and strength he will be a tough player this season." said Steamwheelers Head Coach Cory Ross.
