Green Bay Blizzard News Release
Green Bay has signed defensive lineman Malik Haynes. A Chicago native, Haynes attended Southern Illinois University, where he majored in Criminology & Criminal Justice. In 43 career games with the Salukis, Haynes racked up 111 tackles, 19 TFLs, six sacks, one pass deflection, one fumble recovery, and one blocked kick.
Deldrick Canty is returning for his fifth year with Green Bay. A Baton Rouge native, Canty stayed in his home state to compete collegiately for Louisiana Tech University, where he earned a degree in Sociology and numerous honors as a Bulldog. He joined the Blizzard at the end of the 2018 season and has been a solid presence on the defensive line ever since. In 2022, Canty notched 28 tackles, 10 TFLs, 3.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery on his way to being named the Blizzard's Lineman of the Year.
