Oilers At All-Star Break

Shine Time: The Tulsa Oilers and the rest of the Central Hockey League take a mid week break for the league's all-star game, presented by Obra Homes and hosted by the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees. The game is Wednesday night. Center Jim Dahl and defenseman Mario Joly are representing the Oilers in the all-star game.

Back To Work:When the regular season resumes, the Oilers will have a busy weekend. They play three straight games in three different cities in two and a half days. The Oilers visit the Memphis RiverKings on Friday at 7:05 p.m.; then travel to Oklahoma City to play the Blazers Saturday night at 7:35. The busy weekend wraps up at home, again against Oklahoma City at 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday's games can be heard on KMMY FM 97.1. Saturday's game can also be seen on Cox Cable channel 3.

Getting Hot: The Oilers have won two straight games, after dropping a 5-2 decision in Oklahoma City on Tuesday night. They hosted the Odessa Jackalopes Friday night for the first time in nearly three years and won 4-3 in a shootout. The Oilers then evened their season series with Oklahoma City with a rousing 7-5 win Saturday.

Helping Hand:Center Klage Kaebel was a model of consistency this week for the Oilers, dishing out assists in all three games. He had five assists on the week and now has seven goals and 15 assists for 22 points.
