TULSA, OK - The Tulsa Oilers, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Winnipeg Jets and AHL's Manitoba Moose, and Head Coach Jason Christie announced the acquisition of defenseman Andrew Prochno from the Toledo Walleye on Tuesday. The move completes a trade that sent defenseman Joe Sova to Toledo in February.

Prochno, 24, recorded 22 assists in 58 games for the Walleye during his rookie season in 2015-16. He helped Toledo secure the top seed in the Eastern Conference Playoffs, before the Walleye were knocked out in the first round by the Reading Royals in seven games.

The Minnetonka, MN native previously spent four seasons with St. Cloud State University, where he compiled 16 goals and 75 assists in 147 games for the Huskies. Prochno set collegiate career highs with five goals and 24 assists his freshman season in 2011-12 and was named to the WCHA All-Rookie Team that year. He served as an Alternate Captain his senior season in 2014-15.
