Oil Kings to Meet Calgary Hitmen in Round 2 of WHL Playoffs

(Edmonton, AB) - The Edmonton Oil Kings and Calgary Hitmen will meet in Round 2 of the 2019 WHL Playoffs after a 4-2 win by the Hitmen in Game 7 of their Eastern Conference Quarter-Final series on Tuesday night.

The Oil Kings defeated the Medicine Hat Tigers (4-2) in Round 1 to advance to the Eastern Conference Semi-Final series. Edmonton claimed the season series versus the Hitmen, 7-0-1-0, during the 2018-19 regular season.

The schedule for Round 2 is as follows:

Game 1: Saturday, April 6 - Calgary Hitmen at Edmonton Oil Kings - 7:00 PM MT

Game 2: Sunday, April 7 - Calgary Hitmen at Edmonton Oil Kings - 5:00 PM MT

Game 3: Tuesday, April 9 - Edmonton Oil Kings at Calgary Hitmen - 7:00 PM MT

Game 4: Wednesday, April 10 - Edmonton Oil Kings at Calgary Hitmen - 7:00 PM MT

*Game 5: Friday, April 12 - Calgary Hitmen at Edmonton Oil Kings - 7:00 PM MT
