
Oil Kings Tickets on Sale Friday

EDMONTON, ALTA. - Single game tickets for the entire 2015-16 Edmonton Oil Kings season will go on sale to the general public Friday, Aug. 28 at 10 a.m., the club announced Thursday.
Advance tickets for all home games will start at $19 as the team bids farewell to Rexall Place in the 2015-16 season. Tickets will be available on oilkings.ca, the Rexall Place box office and all Ticketmaster outlets.
The 2015-16 Oil Kings home schedule will kick off Sunday, Sept. 27 at 4 p.m. as the 2016 Memorial Cup host Red Deer Rebels come to town as part of a home-and-home series to open the season.
The hottest ticket of the season is expected to be Saturday, Dec. 5 as the Oil Kings host the Swift Current Broncos at 7 p.m. for the annual Teddy Bear Toss presented by The Brick. Over 10,000 bears are expected on the ice to be donated to 630 CHED Santas Anonymous, helping to make Christmas special for less fortunate kids in Edmonton.
Other big games on the schedule include Pink at the Rink on Sunday, Jan. 31, the Oil Kings' annual New Year's fireworks extravaganza on Jan. 1 and the Family Day matinee and bobblehead giveaway on Feb. 15. In total, the Oil Kings will play 21 of 36 home games on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday - two more weekend games than last season.
Group seats, Five Star Plans, 8- and 18-ticket flex packs and season tickets are already on sale and can be purchased by calling 780-414-GOAL (4625).
