Oil Kings Re-Sign Training Staff

EDMONTON, ALTA. - The Edmonton Oil Kings have come to terms on contract extensions for head equipment manager Rogan Dean and head athletic therapist Brian Cheeseman, general manager Randy Hansch announced Wednesday morning.

"We're very pleased to have Rogan and Brian returning," Hansch said. "There are a lot of pieces that go into the success of our team, and those two guys are a big part of it."

Dean will enter his eighth season with the Oil Kings and has been the team since its inception in 2007-08. The Ft. Saskatchewan product recently surpassed 500 career games behind the Oil Kings bench.

Cheeseman, a native of Mount Pearl, Nfld., is entering his fifth season with the Oil Kings after spending a year with the Tri-City Americans and won a gold medal with the Canadian under-18 team at the 2013 Ivan Hlinka tournament.
