Oil Kings Lose Their Top Scorer

Edmonton, AB - The Edmonton Oil Kings will be without the services of their leading scorer for the remaining 4 games in the Western Hockey League's regular season. Tomas Vincour leaves the team today to join his national team back in the Czech Republic as they prepare for the 2008 IIHF World U18 Championship.

The Czech National Team will be playing in the Division 1, Group A tournament being held in Poland starting April 2nd.

Tomas is currently ranked 10th in the WHL rookie scoring race with 39 points in 65 games. The recently turned 17 year old was the Oil Kings first round first overall pick in the 2007 CHL Import Draft. Tomas is eligible for the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. He will be available to the media today at Rexall Place at 11:30 a.m. outside the Oil Kings' dressing room.
